Eswatini\u2019s monetary authorities have opted for stability, keeping the interest rate unchanged at 6.75 percent while lowering the country\u2019s inflation outlook to 3.33 percent for 2026, according to the latest Monetary Policy Statement released by the Central Bank of Eswatini.<\/p>\n
The decision means commercial banks are expected to maintain the prime lending rate at 10.25 percent, ensuring that the cost of borrowing remains steady for now.<\/p>\n
For consumers, this translates into stable loan repayments at a time when many are still recovering from previous price shocks.<\/p>\n
For businesses, particularly those dependent on credit, it offers a more predictable environment to plan investments and manage operations.<\/p>\n
