Genesis Ekucaleni Media, executive producer of local gospel artist Nothando Hlophe, has celebrated the recognition of her track Methodist Medley as the most streamed gospel song in Spotify’s 2026 data release.

The track forms part of her album titled A New Dawn, which was recorded on June 7, 2025. According to the production company, the milestone demonstrates the global reach of locally produced music and the strength of the kingdom’s creative sector.

Genesis Ekucaleni Media Founder and Director, Senator Pholile Dlamini Shakantu, expressed gratitude to the team and key partners behind the recording’s success.
